B³MI Yoga School Overview
B³MI’s yoga school is approved and registered by Yoga Alliance and upon completion of the program you will be a RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher). Our team of teachers include a broad range of experience in the teachings of yoga from the classroom and beyond including teaching methodology, techniques and training in yoga (pranayama/breath control, meditation, asanas/physical postures & sequencing), philosophy, subtle and physical anatomy. Our program is a comprehensive study of yoga beginning with the history of this ancient practice with a study of the 8 limbs, a deep look into the Yoga Sutras and how to incorporate and honor the original teachings of yoga in the classroom. Graduates of our program will leave confident in the presentation & sequencing of a class...ready to inspire and empower others with their own experiences and wisdom.

B³MI Yoga School Guidelines
Our program is extended over a 5-month period including a Graduation weekend that will be the final weekend of the program. The majority of the hours of our program will be obtained over the 5 months in 3 ways (E-Learning contents, Virtual Live meetings, or In-Person activities). In addition, there will be 1 self-paced Virtual Mindfulness Course, additional study, and self-study hours required to comprise your 200-hour certification. Hours completed outside of the TT course during personal practice and practice teaching will be digitally added to a Google Folder along with reading and writing assignments that will be given at the end of each week. We encourage a union of community among the students and teachers to work together and support one another along this journey. Therefore, feel free to be open and ask for support from any of the above teachers at any time during this process.

Glenn Terndrup 200-HR RYT

I have been teaching biology for 31 years and yoga for 6 years. I got into yoga because of its reputation for bolstering mental health. Yoga empowered me to become a student of my mind and really did increase my mental resilience. As a result of my initial experience with yoga, I decided to get certified to teach yoga. Because of my background in biology, I have a passion for exploring the physiological mechanisms that make yoga such a holistic practice of mind and body.

Danita Taylor 200-HR RYT, ERYT-200, and YACEP

I discovered that yoga is a gift that is available to me and anyone willing to practice. My yoga journey began decades ago following a car accident in which I injured my lower back and neck. Come join me in our B³ Yoga live or prerecorded yoga classes. My preferred style of yoga is gentle. In a gentle flow, expect that we’ll activate our breath, move at a slower pace with lots of modifications, and utilize guided meditation techniques. All fitness levels welcome!

Carin McAtee, 200-HR RYT

Yoga changed my life. This holistic practice of mind, body and spirit allowed me to move through a challenging time in my life. Partnering breath, with body movements and recognizing mental chatter was critical for my personal growth. I decided it was important for me to share this practice of yoga with as many people as I could so I become a certified yoga teacher. My focus is vinyasa flow but I love also teaching gentle, hot, restorative and yin. My favorite part of yoga is introducing new people to the practice.
